If Truth is Truth it Demands to be Told
Many Christians today struggle in their faith for a variety of reasons. For some, The Gospel has died the death of over-familiarization: They have heard it so many times, that it no longer holds the same power. For many others, they don’t know where to go to find answers to the tough questions that arise when pain and heartache come. The “Valiant for Truth” Project was created to help with both. We want to breathe new life into the encouraging truths found in the scriptures. Even more so, we want young men and women to have a place that they can go for their deepest questions about life, faith, and purpose.
We have designed the project so that young men and women are not only its primary audience but its primary contributors. Who is better to highlight the most pressing questions of our young generation than its very own men and women? It is our prayer that these stories may brighten your way and strengthen your spirit.
Got Questions?
There are answers
We are in the process of compiling a list of the most common questions regarding life, faith, and purpose asked by young men and women today.
Linked to each topic or question will be an ever-expanding library of materials specifically curated to address that topic or question.
It is our intention that these materials may encourage you to continually discover the rich truth which is rooted in God’s nature, and the encouragement found in His Holy Word. Please Enjoy!
How we publish our content
- We reach out to young men and women and ask them to contribute ideas for encouraging content.
- The content is then organized by topic or by question (both are currently under development)
- If the material is consistent with Biblical standards, it is approved and posted.
A Collaborative Effort
A center of encouragement created by youth, for youth
The Valiant for Truth Project is designed to be most relevant to young men and women at the ages when they are asking the most important questions about their design and purpose. Especially before age 25, young men and women are often being deeply transformed by the process of discovering how God has created them. We want them to be able to ask, seek, explore, and discover from a plethora of different resources ranging from books and essays to speeches and movies. Encouraging content can be almost anywhere, but sometimes it can be tough to find. We pray that Valiant for Truth may become a kind of “encouragement hub” where young men and women come not only to discover but also to share encouraging truth.
About “Valiant for Truth”
In Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, the character, Faithful, received a powerful exhortation in a moment that would determine whether he lived or died: “Now Faithful, play the man! Speak for thy God. Fear not the wicked’s malice, nor their rod. Speak boldly man, the truth is on thy side. Die for it, and to life in triumph ride.”
The Valiant for Truth Project exists to equip young believers with the truth necessary to both understand and defend The Gospel. To this end, we are continuing to compile encouraging materials written by authors past and present. It is our prayer that, through this project, young men and women will gain the courage to stand boldly and “Speak for thy God.”
The mission of Valiant for Truth is: To introduce young men and women to the value of quality literature and inspiration that adheres to a Christian worldview and can help provide answers to their deepest questions
