Shelley Hendry dedicated her life to ministering to just about everyone she came in contact with. She never knew a stranger, and she made it her personal mission that no young man or woman she knew was unfamiliar with the Gospel. She founded Valiant for Truth with a prayer that young men and women would discover and be inspired by the vast world of Christian literature. 

On May 23rd, 2021, she passed away in a tragic car wreck. Valiant for Truth is now a project dedicated to honoring her legacy
